ELECTED MEMBER OPPORTUNITY
Are you ready to step into a leadership role with LIANZA?
Serving on the LIANZA Board is an opportunity to help shape the future of the library and information sector in Aotearoa. LIANZA are seeking experienced and thoughtful leaders who are ready to contribute at a strategic level.
Previous experience in governance, committees, or leadership roles is valuable and preferred, but not essential, as Board members are responsible for providing strategic oversight and assurance rather than operational delivery. LIANZA welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds who bring sound judgement, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach. We also encourage candidates who bring a youth perspective or are earlier in their leadership journey, helping ensure emerging voices and future leaders are represented at the Board table.

Experience working with central or local government, understanding public sector decision making, developing partnerships, or supporting philanthropic or sponsorship opportunities would be highly valuable. We also encourage candidates who bring a youth perspective, helping ensure emerging voices and future leaders are represented at the Board table.
