Te Whakakitenga aa Kaimai

Te Whakakitenga aa Kaimai (Waikato Bay of Plenty) Region

Formed in 1967 the Te Whakakitenga aa Kaimai region includes the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Coromandel, Taupo, and Gisborne regions, and as far north as south of the Bombay hills.  We welcome new members to the LIANZA Te Whakakitenga aa Kaimai region committee. If you are a personal member of LIANZA, you are eligible for election. Please let us know if you would like to join us - we work hard but we also have fun!

Domains of Practice

In addition to covering the BoK clusters, your revalidation journal should be applied across the four domains of practice (at a minimum your journal should touch on three).

This sounds complicated but it isn’t – it just means that you need to vary the type of training or learning you choose to do when revalidating.  Don’t just read articles or attend courses, but try to include networking and leadership activities, and look at where you are learning on the job.

Education providers

These education providers offer New Zealand focussed library and information studies, and record management programmes ranging from Diplomas to Masters level qualifications.

Revalidation

So the time has come for revalidation?
Time flies when you're having fun! Hopefully you’ve been keeping track of your journal as you go, but if not now's the time to sit down with a pot of coffee and try to remember what you’ve done over the last three years!
