We are seeking a qualified librarian, to help support the research, teaching and learning activities of students (both on-campus and at a distance) and academic staff. Based in the Manawatū Library and aligned to the Massey Business School, this is an excellent career step for someone wanting to progress in the information profession and we offer a stimulating and supportive work environment. This is a fixed term, part-time position working 20 hours per week, for a period of up to 12 months.

Subject Librarians’ responsibilities include supporting the research lifecycle for Massey researchers, providing advice in using Library resources, teaching information skills, both online and in face-to-face classes, collection review and development within a subject speciality, contributing to the Library’s online presence through creating and maintaining teaching resources and digital learning materials, and outreach activities.
