Our scientists, engineers and economists are passionate about building a better, more sustainable New Zealand. Our research covers the whole value chain, from genetics and tree breeding to sustainable timber production. In between, the projects includes bio-plastics, bioenergy, 3D printing, UAV's, sustainable land development with Iwi landowners, protecting forests from pests and fires, sustainable toilets, ecosystem services and adapting to climate change, just to name a few.

In this team of highly skilled knowledge professionals, no two days are the same. You will work closely with researchers across the organisation to facilitate the production of high quality literature for national and international audiences. Our research goes out to government organisations, to the community and to industry, and is published in high impact journals across the globe.
We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic professional with an engaging manner and good listening skills. You will need to be able to develop trust and build good working relationships with busy researchers. With your exceptional researching skills, you will navigate a wide and varied range of information sources and online databases, and package information in a way that enhances the literature searching experience.

Selling our knowledge services is another key capability - we want you to show the organisation what the Knowledge Centre is capable of.
To be successful in this role, your skills will include:

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience in the information and knowledge industry
• Expertise in literature searching
• Experience with reference management software, preferably EndNote
