Library and Information Association of New Zealand Aotearoa
Te Rau Herenga O Aotearoa

At LIANZA, we believe that collaboration is critical to the ongoing success of the library and information sector. Collaboration helps us use our limited resources more effectively, and allows ideas and opportunities to evolve that we might not have generated ourselves.

We work with a wide variety of groups from other library associations to library supply companies, both in New Zealand and internationally.

Over the years we've formed relationships with the wider GLAM sector, and with passionate individuals and organisations from all over Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally. Ever ready for new opportunities, we're open to working with you. Get in touch if you think our organisations can work together.

Special Libraries Association

The Special Libraries Association and LIANZA are committed to working more closely together to create a meaningful and productive relationship.

Library Associations in Aotearoa New Zealand

While LIANZA is the oldest library and information association in Aotearoa New Zealand, there are others that we work with to ensure the future of libraries.

Te Rōpū Whakahau

LIANZA's formal partnership with Te Rōpū Whakahau began in 1995.

Library Associations Overseas

LIANZA is the IFLA representative in New Zealand and has MOU's with many other international associations.
