Due to parental leave, we are looking for a fixed term Library Team Leader for Morrinsville Library.  We are seeking an excellent leader with a passion for community library work.  The role also involves the management of the daily operations of the Library, and contributes to the ongoing development of library outreach services to the district.

The successful applicant will have exceptional customer service skills, supervisory experience, and a thorough up-to-date knowledge of library systems and software.  Ideally you will have a recognised library qualification.  Matamata-Piako Libraries are Kōtui/APNK libraries, so prior use of these systems is an advantage.

The ability to adapt, and collaborate across the library teams and with other council teams is essential.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30, with one rostered Saturday 8.45 to 1.45 every four weeks. Team Leaders also work a rostered day at Matamata or Te Aroha Library every fortnight.
