Library Systems Manager

We are seeking a librarian with energy and initiative to manage our Library Systems Team. The Team is responsible for maintaining and developing library information systems, web development, e-resource and license management, subscriptions and orders for e-resources, digitisation, the Institutional Repository, resource description and payments. 

You will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the Library Systems Team, overall administration of the Library’s information systems and technology and for identifying and reporting on trends in these areas, ensuring an integrated, effective and efficient experience for Library users. You will have a University degree and a formal qualification in Librarianship along with a strong understanding of the library’s role in a university. 

You will have proven leadership experience and successful management of teams and projects within a library. Experience working in a library is essential. The successful applicant will bring excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills including a strong understanding of customer service. They will also have strong IT skills, be confident and be ready to be creative and collaborative. 

Salary will be in the range of $84,190 to $93,544 per year depending on qualifications, skills and experience. The University offers a supportive working environment including professional development opportunities.
