We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a library superstar to partner with our communities to take our services to the next level. This is a particularly exciting time for our community; with rapid growth, a brand new library in Te Awamutu and a future vision to develop the district into a key heritage hotspot, this is ideal timing and a great opportunity for a special person to lead our library team to help us provide high quality, customer-focused library services to the community. We're seeking someone with energy and initiative who will relish the opportunity to provide exceptional leadership, customer service and programmes / initiatives.

To be considered for the role of Library Services Team Leader, you will have:

  • Experience of developing strategies, initiatives and programmes that reflect customer and community requirements.
  • A collaborative team focus and desire to be part of a friendly and supportive work environment that values people and makes a difference in the community.
  • The ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the square when developing strategies and initiatives for how our library services are delivered now and in the future.

Our communities are at the forefront of all that we do, that's why we work hard to ensure that we have the best people on board our 'Waipa' team. If you would like to lead a committed team who are dedicated to providing an outstanding service to its customers and community, then we would love to hear from you.
