Library Customer Services Officer (Part time)

The Selwyn Libraries team provides an exceptional service to the community and your skills and experience will complement and encourage this.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic library customer service officer who will share their own passion for both connecting with people and technology in libraries. You will work actively with a diverse range of library users to develop new skills to connect with knowledge, ideas and technology. This is a role for people who enjoy and excel at customer service. You maybe undertaking or interested in completing a library qualification and would like to play an active role in a small agile library service.
Your interest in learning will be welcomed by team members and you will enjoy working in a team as you learn together. Your assistance with library programmes and events will be valued. Minimum qualifications are NCEA level 3 or equivalent, and ideally you will have some previous experience in a customer services role.

Please note this role will vary between 18 and 24 hours per week. The hours of work will be based on a 4 week roster which will include a minimum of two Saturday shifts; 9.30am - 12.30pm
