If you are looking for a job that...

  • Connects you with the Whanganui Community
  • Provide an outstanding service that people want, of which you can be proud
  • Involves working across multiple locations

Then this could be the position for you!

We are looking for two Library Assistants (casual) to join our team.

You will need to be able to work at the main Davis Library and the Gonville branch, and be available to work at short notice across the week, including weekends. You will be part of a busy team providing frontline customer service, handling checkout, advising customers on reading, shelving, and assisting with public computer enquiries. You will need excellent people skills and be comfortable multi-tasking. Both library branches offer a limited cafe service including coffee (training will be provided).
