Librarian (Part-time, Fixed Term) x 2

We are looking for two highly motivated, 'can do' individuals with excellent customer service skills to join the team to help our community enjoy the wonderful resources and services the Libraries offer.Vibrant and energetic, Kāpiti Coast District Libraries are a great place to work. Our Libraries extend from Paekākāriki to Ōtaki serving communities rich in diversity and cultural heritage.We have two part-time positions for a fixed term period until 30 June 2017.

  1. Librarian (Waikanae) part-time, working Monday to Friday inclusive from 10am until 2pm
  2. Librarian (Ōtaki and Waikanae) part-time, working on Monday from 8.30am to 3.15pm, Thursday from 8.30am to 5pm and Saturday from 9.45am to 4pm

You will be responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service; providing assistance for information and research queries, readers' advisory expertise and ensuring the needs of our customers are met.This position will also be required to contribute to district-wide library projects and teams, including Collection Support, Digital Services, Heritage and Māori Collections, Community Programmes and Youth Services.
