Te Rau Herenga o Aotearoa LIANZA 2023 Conference offers a wonderful opportunity to bring people together from across our diverse library and information sector.

LIANZA 2023 REGISTRATION FEES

Early bird registration opens on May 08 and will close on August 31, 2023 EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 14

  • Early bird registration and group rates are available until August 31, 2023. EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 14
  • Standard registration rates will apply for payments after August 31, 2023 (SEPTEMBER 14).
  • All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 15%.
  • Full payment for registration fees must be received to secure your place at the conference.
  • Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) members can register at equivalent LIANZA member rates eg. AALIA can register at RLIANZA rate.

Full registration Tuesday October 31 to Thursday November 2
Full registration includes entry to all conference sessions, exhibition, morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas on Tuesday October 31 - Wednesday November 1 at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, the welcome reception on Tuesday October 31, the board games night at Tūranga on Wednesday November 1 and Tales and Tours on November 2 including lunch and drink ticket at end of tour gathering.

Day registration includes entry to all conference sessions, exhibition, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and the welcome reception at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre.

Day registration Wednesday November 1
Day registration includes entry to all conference sessions, exhibition, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre and the board games night at Tūranga.

Day registration Thursday November 2
Day registration includes Tales and Tours including lunch and drink ticket at the end of tour gathering.

GROUP REGISTRATIONS

For the first time, LIANZA is offering a special group discount for institutions and organisations that register staff for full three-day registrations. This group offer ends on Thursday August 31, 2023 (EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 14), and the more people you register, the more complimentary registrations you'll receive.

  • Register a group of between four to nine staff and receive one additional complimentary registration.
  • Register a group of between nine to fifteen staff and receive two additional complimentary registrations.
  • Register over 15 staff and receive three additional complimentary registration.

The complimentary registration will be offered at the early bird LIANZA institutional staff rate $880 for the three days. All delegates must be from the same organisation or institution.

Please use this spreadsheet to collect all the registration information required for each staff member, prior to sending the group registration to The Conference Company.

REGISTRATION INCLUSIONS

  • To be eligible for LIANZA or Te Rōpū Whakahau RLIANZA member rates you must be a current paid-up member and hold current LIANZA professional registration.
  • To be eligible for LIANZA or Te Rōpū Whakahau personal member rates you must be a current paid-up member.
  • To be eligible for LIANZA student member rates you must be a current paid-up student member.
  • For staff to be eligible for LIANZA institutional rates, your institution must be a current paid-up member.
  • To be eligible for RLIANZA from another association rates you must be a current paid up member of the other association.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Individual registration cancellation policy

  • Should you need to cancel your registration for any reason, you may reassign your registration to another person.
  • Please email The Conference Company at lianza@theconferencecompany.com to advise the replacement delegate's name and contact details.
  • If you are unable to arrange a replacement, a refund (less an administration charge of $115) will be made, providing notification is received by Monday October 16. After that date no refunds will be made.

Group registration cancellation policy

  • If your organisation registered a group and one (or more) people cancel, you must reassign the registration(s) to other people from your organisation no later than Monday October 16.
  • Please email The Conference Company at lianza@theconferencecompany.com to advise the replacement delegate's name and contact details.
  • If you are unable to arrange replacement (s), your special group rate will revert to the individual rate per delegate.
