Koorero / Content Manager

As Hamilton City Libraries’ Koorero Content Manager you will inspire and make a difference to a large, committed and diverse team of library industry professionals.

You’ll lead a group of experienced staff, who know their business and their customers, and have a strong sense of ownership towards the services they manage for the community.

This role balances leadership excellence with planning and management skills. You will take ownership of the outputs within the Kohinga Lending Collections, Ngaa Korrero Tuku Iho Heritage and Archive teams, while maintaining a holistic focus over the wider libraries operation. You will empower specialists within these areas to deliver innovative, relevant and meaningful services to the community.

As a leader, you will drive the direction for the libraries’ collections and digital services including programming, customer access, procurement, content and data management, maintenance and preservation.

You will also be responsible for relationship and contract management with the libraries’ relevant vendors and suppliers.

The recruiting range for this role starts at $96,434 per annum and will be negotiated for the right candidate in accordance with skills and experience.
