We are looking for someone to join Victoria University Library as Kaiārahi Rautaki (Library Strategic Development Advisor – Māori), a new part-time, fixed term role for one year. You will advance and advise on the Māori strategic development of Library services (in alignment with Victoria’s key strategic documents), the Māori capability building of Library staff, and the recruitment of Māori Library staff, in order to support successful outcomes for Victoria’s Māori staff and students.

You will be confident within a marae setting and using te reo Māori. Your ability to think strategically and translate strategy into action will be important. You will have a demonstrated commitment to supporting Maori scholarship, a strong client focus, sound analysis and judgement, and able to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve defined goals. This is a fixed-term for 1 year, part-time role of 20 hours per week based at the Kelburn campus, reporting to the Associate Director, Library Academic Services.
