We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven and motivated individual to join Whanganui’s Alexander Library Heritage and Archives team.

Do you have the following:
- Knowledge and experience of records management within a library, archive, iwi repository or museum context
- Proven ability in collection and/or historical research
- A high standard of computer and information literacy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
This role involves caring for, documenting and sharing heritage collections in appropriate formats that are guided by Te Kāuru principles.
If you are an innovative person with a “can do” attitude, capable of multi-tasking, and comfortable communicating and working with a wide range of people in writing and in person, then we would love to hear from you.
You will need to have a current NZ driver’s licence as well as post-secondary qualification or work experience in a relevant subject.
