This role is based on the Tūhuratanga / Discovery floor of the new central library – Tūranga. This is an information-rich floor with an extensive non-fiction collection. It offers quiet spaces for study and reading, and vibrant spaces for people to meet, connect and learn something new.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, customer-focused, and digitally literate library professional with the skills and confidence to develop, promote and deliver innovative library programmes, events and services.

In this rewarding role you will move seamlessly from delivering a classroom session on eResources, to planning an event to engage the community, to assisting a customer with a research or technology enquiry. It is an active role which will keep you moving.

Additional recruitment information:
Salary: $22.96 – $29.91 per hour
Hours of Work: Permanent, part-time

Sunday 10am-5pm, Monday 12:15-8:15pm, Tuesday 1-7pm, Wednesday 2-5:30pm
