LIANZA REGIONAL COMMUNITY CONFERENCE GRANTS
It is our great pleasure to make available six LIANZA Regional Community Conference Grants. These grants are funded through the newly-established LIANZA Community Contestable Fund. There are six grants in total with a grant awarded to one member of each LIANZA regional community. The grant will provide $500 towards the costs of attending the bi-ennial LIANZA conference.
The grant is available to LIANZA members from each LIANZA regional community who must be a current member and have belonged to LIANZA for at least one year prior to applying.
Priority will be given to the applicants who are attending a LIANZA conference for the first-time and who hold LIANZA Professional Registration You must be able to fund all other costs beyond the grant that are involved in attending the conference e.g. all accommodation, travel and registrations costs, be able to attend all three days of the conference and provide written confirmation of support from your employer.
You will need to provide a plan for how your learning will be shared with your regional community and will be expected to participate in any LIANZA publicity about the grant including providing a short article for Library Life or a blog piece for Libraries Aotearoa about your conference experience and learning.
The selection panel is made up of six representatives from LIANZA regional communities.
Applications are open NOW and close July 22.
