The registrations for the  2019 LIANZA Te Whakakitenga aa Kaimai Weekend School are now open! We hope you can join us in Rotorua!

5:00pm Friday, May 24th from 5pm to Sunday, May 26th 12.30pm.

Our weekend school is a highlight of the regional calendar and we look forward to again welcoming our community from Gisborne to Hamilton, Raglan to Tauranga and everywhere in between.

Our weekend school programme will provide professional learning to reflect on for your LIANZA professional registration and valuable for learning and networking for all library staff.

FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL EVENT
Friday May 24, 5.30-7pm
Rotorua Public Library

The weekend will begin  with an informal get-together  This is a great start to the weekend with plenty of opportunities for networking and a tour of the library.
Finger food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided courtesy of the Rotorua Public Library.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY WEEKEND SCHOOL
Owata Marae
Hinemoa Point

Saturday 9am - Sunday 12.30pm
We will be welcomed with a powhiri at 9am. Morning tea and registrations will follow and then our first speakers will begin the weekend school programme.
At lunchtime there will be a tours offered of the charming old church that is situated at the Owata Marae.

SATURDAY DINNER
This dinner is a highlight of the weekend school and we hope you will join your colleagues for an evening of conversation and fun at Hennessy's at 6pm.
