We are seeking a Community Library Manager for our Eastbourne Library to lead, guide and grow our team to provide relevant and responsive programmes, service delivery and positive customer experiences.

Our Eastbourne Library operates six days a week 10am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 5pm Saturday and has a team of 5. 

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • A sound understanding of 21st century librarianship and its role in community engagement, responsiveness and programme development
  • Experience in leading high quality customer service
  • Proven experience and a desire to lead a successful team
  • The ability to actively forge and build on connections with other service providers and community organisations
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in a comparable role
