Christine got her start in libraries as a volunteer at Whakatane Library and after deciding a career in library and information management was for her, she moved to Wellington to study towards her Masters in Library and Information Studies at Victoria University of Wellington while working at the Parliamentary Library. 

EOI: LIANZA FAIFE committee members

LIANZA Council recently approved the formation of a new Standing Committee - the LIANZA Freedom of Access to Information and Freedom of Expression Standing Committee. 

The purpose of this committee is to advise LIANZA Council and LIANZA membership on issues of freedom of access to information, intellectual freedom and privacy. 

We are looking for five members to form this new LIANZA Standing Committee. The role will commence in September 2018. Members will serve a term of three years which can be renewed for a further two years.
