How fast time flies when you are having fun. I had tweeted on the last day that it was one of the best conferences I had been to and after reflecting and sorting thoughts I still write the same.

LIANZA Conference 2019

LIANZA Conference 2019 will be held from the 20-23 October 2019 at the Vodafone Events Centre in Auckland.

The general public sometimes assumes that people living with dementia, even those who once obtained a great deal of pleasure from reading, can no longer read, or if they are still able to do so, are only able to cope with basic vocabulary and simple grammar.

If there’s one thing that motivates me it is observing people work hard for their community and I find myself reflecting that energy – being ‘charged’ by it - in doing my best to acknowledge or support that. Soooo … what’s it like being a ‘guest’, a non-librarian, and a vendor at a LIANZA Conference? Well... here’s my thoughts... and I might add there’s some thoughts we can all take to getting the best out of attending a conference.
