Conference cancellation policy

By purchasing a ticket to attend LIANZA 2017 you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.

1.  Our goal is to provide all speakers and special / social events as advertised, however, LIANZA reserves the right to change the programme/  If we do have to change the programme we will do our best to ensure an equal quality of speaker / event.

2.   Registration places are limited and will be allocated on a "first in" payment basis.  In the event that space isn't available we will let you know as soon as possible.

3.   If you can no longer attend the LIANZA conference you may cancel your registration by emailing the LIANZA office.   If you cancel before August 4th, 2017, you will receive a full refund less a $125.00 administration fee. Cancellations recieved between August 4th and August 25th will receive a 50% refund.  Cancellations received after August 25th will not receive a refund.

4. Substitutions may be made at any time (including onsite) with the written permission of the original ticket holder.  If the substitution is for a category such as student or member then the individual substituted must be eligible for that category or pay the price difference.  Please note if a substitution is made less than five working days before conference we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cater for any special dietary requirements or ensure delegate details are changed.

5. If you register as a student you will be asked for your student ID or other proof of your student standing when you arrive at conference.  

6.  Payment is due prior to the conference.  If you arrive on site with an outstanding balance full payment will be required before you are admitted to the conference.   

7.  LIANZA reserves the right to refuse entry or to remove any attendee or other individual that LIANZA determines is behaving in a manner that contravenes its Code of Conduct, or could cause harm to another individual.

8. A Force Majeure Event means an event or circumstances that is/are beyond the reasonable control of a party, and is unable to be prevented with the exercise of reasonable care.  This includes Acts of god such as an earthquake or flood, fire, acts of terrorism or war, epidemic.   If, as a result of a Force Majeure Event, LIANZA is forced to postpone or cancel the conference then it shall not be held responsible.    In that situation LIANZA shall not be liable to any attendee for damages, costs, or losses incurred such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, or other financial losses.  In the case of cancellation due to a Force Majeure Event refunds will occur on a case by case basis.
