Interloans

Interloan is a national resource sharing cooperative for libraries wishing to share their collection resources for the benefit of their customers and the people of New Zealand.

Te Puna Strategic Advisory Committee (TPSAC)

Te Puna Strategic Advisory Committee (TPSAC) administers the Interloan scheme and exists to maximise access to library resources in New Zealand through Interloan. New Zealand libraries, the National Library of New Zealand and LIANZA provide the members of TPSAC.

From 1985 to November 2008 the Joint Standing Committee on Interloan (JSCI) administered the Interloan Scheme. In 2004 JSCI commissioned a survey of interloan activity survey of interloan activity and in 2005 sponsored a series of Interloan Best Practice Workshops that were run throughout the country.
